1001 Albums Summary

'twas fiiiiiine. Makes me think of elevator music or that scene in Mr. & Mrs. Smith where they're in the final shootout in the department store. Didn't love.

Turns out I like the Beatles songs, but I do not actually like the Beatles singing their songs. Across the Universe soundtrack had better versions fr. As did Yesterday for that matter.

I feel bad for those of you who listened to the whole album.

Listened to at least a little of each song. Standard 1980s rock. Not making my list for a re-listen.

Distinctly listenable. 8.5/10. Classics like Rio and Hungry Like the Wolf were awesome. New favs include Lonely in Your Nightmare, Hold Back the Rain, and New Religion. The Chauffeur was interesting too. Peak movie scene soundtrack options.

Blackened is a fine spirit, but this is not my style and the songs sound the same.
