Some interesting lyrics (a tad rambly), glimpses of life as a black woman in the US '60. Good musical variety. "I love your loving ways" stands out. "Four women" is trying to tell a story, but the "my name's" shtick makes it kinda forced.
Bittersweet Symphony shines in the album, one of my favourite songs! Loved also Weeping Willow.
Really not my style. Some lyrics honestly felt like it was just him ranting with a friend on the phone. It's as if he's focusing on rhyming first, and the idea behind as an afterthought. The melodies were also pretty safe and uninspired (but good harmonica). "Are you ready for the country" and "The Needle and the damage done" were the better ones.

Strong lyrics and storytelling. Absolutely fantastic guitar and vocals. Can't say I liked much the songs without Freddy as lead vocalist, I think they actually dragged the album down. Great ability to keep songs fresh by adding variations and keeping them unpredictable. Impressive experimentation with different styles of music, exotic or old-timey vibes and instruments (Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon). Bohemian Rhapsody is an example of sheer musical creativity from musicians that have the talent to carry it to fruition. Loved also the adorable and iconic 'You're My Best Friend'.
Legendary guitar, and iconic rock songs. Some tracks get a little too self indulgent to the point of getting boring tho and drag the album down.
Kinda interesting lyrics, but mostly about being 'so special and unique'. A tad boring.
Completely lacking in musicality. Basically a lunatic raving at a mic with some random power chords in the background. This kind of self-serving music is pointless to me.
Pretty odd, but interesting and atmospheric "industrial" music.
