Even if he never finished the other states in this Grand and ambitious project, this is a beautiful loveletter to the time and place.
Never listened to it the full way through before; it has a incredibly contemporary sound, and still feels very fresh and prescient. Hendrix's guitar work is still clearly the standout here, but it's a surprise and a delight to hear the complexity in even the more simple songs. A+ and more than deserving of it's place along the historical continuum.

Origins of season of the witch - overall pretty delightful album, with some stand-out tracks.
I recognize more than half the songs, deposits being largely unfamiliar with the album and artist, which just goes to show is reach and influence. Good golly Miss Molly is a treat
