Restaurant chef simulator but its one of those games where you csnt technically fail and its just chill. Cooking mama vibes and character design but only the fun non time pressured minigames for cooking and then when you complete a full meal if you do well enough you get a michelin star. Minigames include chopping peppers, frying some vegetables, baking some stuff etc and there's a lovely vibe in the kitchen all the time and at the end you get to plate it and make it look chill, and there's some story about this being your grandparents restaurant and you want to keep the family business going. Anyway the albums alright Id give it like a 3, no final boss musIc so the story felt incomplete
Big up Fats Domino!! My grandads favourite artist, and he'd murder me if I gave this any less than 5.
it's a bit samey, the songs all seem to blend together into one and not really in a way I enjoy
I love this, the trumpet feels so crisp and cuts through the tracks it's on. It sounds like music for wii sports games in the best of ways. Multiple ~ 20 minute tracks are a bit much to just sit down and listen through but this managed to keep my attention throughout.
Big into funk at the moment and this really hits the spot for me atm. I enjoyed listening to it, there's a good variety in the songs, and they manage to feel high energy and also chill at the same time. The constant groove is infectious and so hard to ignore, my head was bopping along pretty much the whole time. High point was "all about love", a perfect break in the album that just felt melodically right. I do feel like some of the songs (Happy Feelin', Yearnin' Learnin') felt like they dragged a bit and didn't quite have the same magic as the rest, which is a shame, but luckily they didn't ruin the flow of the album for me. Overall still a blast to listen to.
I like the funk, this feels like the soundtrack that was playing in the background during the 70s. But I feel the album could have been literally half the length and that honestly would have improved it. Too many of the songs started strong and then just repeated themselves over and over, until I was almost sick of them. Would have been amazing live, but could've really used a bit of restraint on the recording. I do really like a lot of what's going on, there's so many good ideas that still feel fresh and I love the casual rock break in the middle of the album. I think it deserves a bit higher than the 3 I'm giving it, it seems like it was probably groundbreaking at the time, but a 4 would be too much credit given I was not able to finish it.
This is gonna be very hard for me to listen to, there's some weird audio mixing issues going on on the first song and the sound is biased towards my left headphone except an annoying guitar part just in the right. The songs drag on and on oh my god, his voice is just not good enough to carry how bland these songs are either. And it doesn't feel like it fits at all? Theres no variance at all, its the same bits repeated over and over. The lyrics are kinda creepy too? Idk why he'd just repeat I want you over and over. This album sounds like a worse version of father john misty. Look I know father john misty started making music a lot later on than elvy costello and may have been inspired by him but also its hard to enjoy something that sounds similar but is objectively much worse. Props to the attractions, theyve definitely got something going for them, but just ditch elvis next time okay hun?

reeheeheeheehee. Rhikes Rhaggy, Rhis Rhalbum's Not Good
This is a blast to listen to. Marvin Gaye, you knocked it out the park. The vocals are sublime and dreamy, the falsetto is incredible. I've enjoyed every song so far, nothing more to say.
I think one or two of the songs drag on a bit towards the end, but the sound still feels pretty fresh, and it's hard to dislike the artist that inspired most of the music I listen to. Also Bjorks voice is interesting af, it's a nice mix of feeling ethereal and then occasionally she comes in with these guttural growls.
Its nice is what I can say about it. I appreciate leonard is weaving these fantastic stories and I love the atmosphere they create, but the whole album being the same tempo is just a bit too meh. I still enjoyed it, but I felt like the album was just coasting really, I got very few emotional or energetic highs or lows. All that said so long marianne is fantastic i love it
Its just a bit boring, songs dragged, felt quite samey. I see its an important album in punk rock history but its not for me

MMmmm I do love a bit of Steely Dan. Good mix of rock jazz and blue, producing this kind of wild album. It's *very* 70s
