Parachutes by Coldplay

Trash. Pure and utter trash. I hate this and Coldplay with an intense, burning passion. I would wipe the existence of Coldplay off the face of the Earth if I could. I wish I could give this horse shit zero stars.

Live At Leeds by The Who

Absolutely brilliant. Usually not into live albums, but The Who absolutely smashed it out of the park here. Really cohesive sound. Some of my favorites from the album included Young Man Blues, Shakin' All Over, and Heaven and Hell. I really enjoyed that you can hear during the endings and beginnings of some of the tracks. Makes you feel like you're there. I wonder if they knew they were witnessing the recording of one of the greatest live albums of all time.

Brown Sugar by D'Angelo

My goodness, I love neo-soul. D'Angelo's voice is nothing short of heavenly. That voice combined with groovy, soulful instrumentals makes Brown Sugar an R&B classic. Some standout tracks include Alright, When We Get By, and Brown Sugar.

Blue Lines by Massive Attack

Solid, but sometimes a bit repetitive. Great for dancing by yourself in your room, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Favourites included Daydreaming and Blue Lines (the title track).

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder

Always love some Stevie! One of his best. Some favorites from the album included Maybe Your Baby, You've Got It Bad Girl, and Blame It On The Sun.

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Jun 03 2021

Solid, but sometimes a bit repetitive. Great for dancing by yourself in your room, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Favourites included Daydreaming and Blue Lines (the title track).

Tanto Tempo by Bebel Gilberto
Jun 04 2021

'Tanto Tempo' brought me back to the random Bossa Nova phase I went through in lock-down last year. As Gilberto proves, that's not a bad thing. Super groovy, although I could imagine it being slightly boring and repetitive if jazz/bossa nova is not really your thing. I listened to it on a Saturday morning while doing the chores. Safe to say, Gilberto's smooth tone made my errands a lot more enjoyable. Some favourites included Lonely, Mais Feliz, August Day Song, and Close Your Eyes.

Jun 07 2021

Rap opera is not really for me, but I certainly found the concept to be interesting and thought the production was just really well done. In some ways, I was kind of sad that I couldn't really get into it. Some favourites from the album included Not Addicted and Dry Your Eyes.

Brown Sugar by D'Angelo
Jun 08 2021

My goodness, I love neo-soul. D'Angelo's voice is nothing short of heavenly. That voice combined with groovy, soulful instrumentals makes Brown Sugar an R&B classic. Some standout tracks include Alright, When We Get By, and Brown Sugar.

The White Album by Beatles
Jun 10 2021

Not the Beatles' best album, but it's definitely one of their best. Some favourites included While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Happiness Is A Warm Gun, Glass Onion, and Sexy Sadie.
