Let It Bleed
The Rolling Stones
It's one of the core Stones albums, some absolute classics on here. What more is there to say?
Might not be *my* first choice for entry-level Stones, but if you pick it, I can't say you picked wrongly per se.

Rid Of Me
PJ Harvey
PJ Harvey casts a long shadow, and for a long time from listening to her later work, I never quite got it, but it comes through loud and clear on here.
I've put four stars now, but given what this is making me think — that you can put the music on this record up against most of the angriest, noisiest, most cathartically chaotic music of the 90s and it'll win most of the time — it'll probably be a 4.5 to 5 star someday. Great first impression.

Home Is Where The Music Is
Hugh Masekela
Pretty solid jazz fusion, if a little standard for the era IMO. However, there are some lovely standout tracks on here (see: "Inner Crisis").

A Rush Of Blood To The Head
Coldplay
1 of probably 2 actually really good Coldplay albums tbh

My Generation
The Who
I love the Who a lot, but I save my hype for the later classics: Who's Next, Tommy, Quadrophenia

The Slim Shady LP
Eminem
Rating Em is always complicated, and I've always preferred the MMLP, but to give this three stars feels a little unfair of me.

Bossanova
Pixies
Kurt Cobain once said he was afraid people would say "Smells Like Teen Spirit" sounded too much like Pixies. I finally get that comparison now.
