Excellent album. Some of the more surreal pieces lost me, but there are some true classics within. "All along the Watchtower" = perfect guitar cover of Bob Dylan's mystical scene "Voodoo Chille" = blues-y story on voodoo culture
The Beatles are always great! Few standouts in this particular album, but even the worst of The Beatles is better than many other groups.
I like this better than I did in high school, but that's a low bar... I do enjoy parts of "All the Lights" and "Power"
Many of the songs seemed like incoherent ramblings, but I liked the sounds and tone overall.
What a vibe. So many great songs on here with a good variety of moods.
Forlorn tone (with some exceptions) and nice harmonica, but I found myself losing interest before the end of most songs. "Just like a Woman" is the main standout
Optimistic (mostly) collection of brass, drums, strings. Abba-adjacent.
