Tonight's The Night
Neil YoungBeautiful album. Neil Young sounds like he shouldn't be able to sing but it fits perfectly with the impeccable songwriting. Big fan of the harmonica parts and the more upbeat tracks.

These guys are doing things that are uncommon even nowadays. The melodies and rhythms are often odd but in a surprisingly pleasant way.
Really good album. Country elements are strong and not half-assed. Musicianship is top notch, and the lyrics were good but hard to follow. This album was a joy.
So far, album has a message concerning self-positivity. Songs like "Shining Star" and "All About Love" preach being the best you can be, and that being happy is a choice. The music itself is full of soul and very danceable, with a bluesy element tastefully interwoven. Beyond that, it's experimentalness goes a bit far in some areas.
Honestly wasn't my cup of tea, and didn't listen too hard.
Good enough to listen to more than once. Although only one song stuck out to me, which is Cracked Actor, due to its heavier sound. Lyrics were almost good, but nothing memorable.
School's Out was my favorite, however, the rest of the album I didn't find captivating enough to finish. I can see how in the 70s this may have been an influential album, to me it pales in comparison to the other greats of the 70s
