The idea of this being a collection of 3 fantastic songs surrounded by a bunch if mediocre ones is ridiculous, but that's because it's actually 2 fantastic songs and electric feel. I'm a sucker for a synth bass I guess. The fleetwood mac moment was nice also

I almost liked this more, definitely some fun moments but it really felt long for no reason. Like this transitional period in rock was just about making the same kind of song but longer? Still glad I listened and a couple of the songs were nice. Is he good at the guitar? I feel like these solos are bad. Strong 2

Was thinking about it as a punk album that I didn't really love, but once I started thinking about it as a key precursor to grunge, it really opened up. Lots of fun. Strong 3

Oh yeah So many of the songs are so beautiful in their arrangements and harmonies, but as a whole I'm particularly drawn to how they use rhythm across this. Nude and Weird Fishes remain favorites but the energies of bodysnatchers and Jigsaw are revealing themselves to be similarly impressive achievements. Incredibly stacked top to bottom, wonderful time.
