Funky, psychedelic, even progressive.
The first song Maggot Brain was the charm of the album, a 10 minutes solo that remind me a lot of Hendrix's work.

Brian May shines on this album, for me his best work.
Killer Queen is the perfect single.

Never heard of Beach House before and this album was a good introduction.
I liked the harmonics between the vocalists and the melodies as well, not to mention the the guitar riffs.
Listened while I work and the songs did a great job of a chill background music.
A solid 8/10.

Tbh I liked Different Class more, but this album also stand on his own.
Pulp represents a lot the 90's britpop, it's like a fusion of Roxy Music and Bowie, so ofc my ears will be happy.

Happy and catchy songs from the disco era that represents a lot of the 70's.
I know the songs are repetitive, but it's a characteristic of disco music and it works, especially in a dance club.
Overall a good album.

Its an interesting concept album, you can see they tried to replicate the magic that The Beatles and Beach Boys were doing in the late 60's.
