Modern Kosmology by Jane Weaver
Jul 13 2022

H>A>K is triply. There are some cool layering effects and synth sounds that I like. The synths and drums play well off of each other. Did You See Butterflies: Persistent bass line. Her voice is ethereal. Harmonies are nice. Cool layering and synths once again. Modern Kosmology: Titular track, groovy. Funky drums. Another ostinato bassline Loops In The Secret Society is a Bop. Very upbeat. Cool harmonies. This album uses a lot of vocal layering, some cool counter melodies are created. Mostly it’s all sounding samey to me, for whatever thats worth. This continues into Architect- cool sounds, synths and layering. It’s in its lane. Down to- “valley” -getting listening fatigue from this album I think Ravenspoint- lots of layering but some cool reverb effect “I wish” this album was over

I'm Your Man by Leonard Cohen
Jul 26 2022

Everything about this album was pretty good, except for his voice, I just can’t get over it

A Wizard, A True Star by Todd Rundgren
Jul 27 2022

Weird exploration of synth technology and sounds music. Listen to while under the influence of something.

The Healer by John Lee Hooker
Jul 29 2022

I was torn between a 4-5 star. Lots of bops, cool guests, cool sounds

Stankonia by OutKast

Absolutely loved.

Let England Shake by PJ Harvey

Fucking English Propaganda. This album blows. Tomorrow can’t come soon enough

This Is Fats Domino by Fats Domino
Aug 04 2022

YEAHHHHH I LOVE FATS! The whole thing is not on Spotify, might look up later. I found it good shit.

Rejoicing In The Hands by Devendra Banhart
Aug 07 2022

I don’t really like his concert. Nice guitar licks and really poignant lyrics. To clarify, some of the lyrics are poignant he said buhbuhbuh maybe 20 times.
