Good office music. Mellow, relaxing vibes all the way through. This album would be great for road tripping as well, very daydream-y and great to drift away into. 3.5/5 for me.
Feels like a compilation of 70s sitcom theme songs with a folky bluegrass twang.
Top 3 Tribe albums for me. Smooth, witty, and funky. This was a big tile in the groundwork of jazz samples in hip hop and gave whole new flavor to the sound. Lyrically intelligent and great storytelling. 4/5 stars.
Not the UB40 hits everyone is used to. Very mellow, relaxed album with some great instrumental breaks. Wish it got a little more progressive, but if you are looking for calm background reggae—this is it.
Aggressive, catchy and raw—but still leaves room for softer tones. Makes me want to hit the dance floor and run some hot laps. We’re comin out!
