Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Aug 31 2022

A great blues album, makes you wanna sit on a porch with a bottle of whiskey. But very much like drinking whiskey, it all just becomes a muddled blur the longer it goes on. I guess Muddy Waters is an appropriate name.

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Sep 01 2022

One of the top 5 best West Coast rap albums of all time. Need I say more?

The Stranger by Billy Joel
Sep 02 2022

Billy Joel made this album as an early 20-something on Long Island. As a fellow 20-something on Long Island, a lot of the themes still stand the test of time.

Pick a sound for God’s sake. Are you a Beatles remake? Elvis? Any folk band ever? Hopefully they’ve decided in the 51 years since this album came out.

C'est Chic by CHIC
Sep 13 2022

At first I thought it was just gonna be a disco album, but I was pleasantly surprised at the mixture of sounds. Disco isn’t dead baby!

Femi Kuti by Femi Kuti
Sep 20 2022

He’s certainly not his father, but it’s still a solid album that is part of the foundation that led to the current worldwide popularity of Afrobeats, especially those coming out of Nigeria. I’d do 3.75 if I could.

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Sep 21 2022

I’m sure many people love it, but I felt like I forced myself through basically all of Volume 2
