Gives the feel of a sunny Sunday afternoon, with a little more funk influence than I was ready for from Bowie.

An almost lo-fi rock album, I definitely hear how this album would be influential for rock as a genre to progress.

While Ironic that this album plays the day after the queens death, that doesn't save the fact that I HATE The Smiths.

While definitely not my typical album, there's no denying that Dancing in the Dark and Born in the USA are incredible Hits

Had no Idea that Black Magic Woman and Oye Como Va we're off the same album, let alone right after one another. Great album all the way down. Incedent in Neshabur is a great tune as well. Santana is one of those bands that is cleshae to like, right? They're great

Not my thing :( Big Iron is a classic tho

This album flip flops between being a great Tony hawk skate soundtrack and making me feel like I'm in a drug trip in a movie. Very well written drum beats, hypnotic and repetitive. The first half ended up sounding very samey, due to each track flowing into each other. I typically enjoy when albums do this, but since it's so bare Bones, it led to each of them feeling quite similar. It was interesting to hear the songs halfway through, when they were able to experiment more, but these also typically fell a little flat for me. The last song on the album had me the most hopeful, since this is the one and only song where the artists actually sing. I have nothing against this album, but there's not a ton to grab onto for me. I'll probably listen to this again next time. I feel like I want to be at a rave

This album has the definitive versions of both chameleon and watermelon Man. In my opinion. The album's so effortlessly blends the electronic synth and the real jazz instruments, a large feat for the time that this album released. Extremely unique, intriguing and funky. I hadn't heard the last two songs on the album, but they both lived up to the hype in their own ways.

I love Garbage as a band. They're my dad's favorite band, and he passed that love down to me pretty young. A very easy entry into the grunge category, this album is a fantastic start. The Madison based band really knows how to get each instrument to sound just right in the studio. The third track, I only like it when it rains, is their number one hit all time for a reason. All of these tracks are filled with such depth and unique sound. As much as it pains me, I just cannot give this a perfect five-star rating. I believe that they've improved their sounds so much, as well as their songwriting, that despite this being one of their best selling albums, it's not perfect.
