Axis: Bold As Love
Jimi HendrixMy first album was very different from what I’m used to listening to. I’m glad, because this is exactly why I decided to start. Hendrix’s guitar skills are insane! PS I love the album cover.

Day 2!! Loved loved loved Songs from a Room by Leonard Cohen. I played it in the car and my mom immediately recognized and loved the album. I can definitely see how this 1969 work of art influenced future artists.
I really liked the grunting sound effects in “Line Up:” it scratched an itch in my brain. I had never heard of Elastica before, but now may consider myself a fan.
I was surprised (though I shouldn’t have been) by how much I loved this album. I couldn’t decide between Fever and It Feels So Right as my favorite song!
I liked this album, but not my fave so far.
This album was painfully boring in my opinion. I tried to like it, but just nothing stuck out to me. I thought I liked the last song in the album, but it turns out it was a song by a completely different artist that Spotify had recommended at the end of the album.
I love sea shanties… so you know this was right up my alley,
Loved this album!! Sounded very smooth to me.
I thought I might like it during the first song, but it was only downhill from there for me.
This album had so much range across genres. I really liked the different instruments used.
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this dark and multifaceted album. The titular song was my favorite.
Brainwashed was my favorite song. An overall laid back album.
My 2nd album from the Pogues. Not my fave.
Experimental instrumentals and vocals work well together.
I THOROUGHLY enjoyed this. Listened while on a walk. Kept me going so fast. The fast paced beat, the gory stories, the soothing vocals. Love, love, love.
The VARIETY!!! I had heard Killing Me Softly before and had no idea who it was by. I thought the different styles work together well. Zealots had a similar background sound to that one song in Euphoria. I liked the line that there is “Too many MCs and not enough mics.”
This was… interesting. I had to stop listening to Cop Shoot Cop. Otherwise, interesting.
I’ve never delved into Champeta music, but I am now very intrigued. I had a fun time trying to figure out which language they were singing in (when not French). I think I was able to pinpoint Lingala.
