I Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You
Aretha FranklinAretha's talent really carries this album because while she delivers a great performance on every song the music and lyrics are for the most part boring and kind of repetive.

Every song on this albums is just okay other than Sunny Afternoon which is great.
Morrisey is a prick but he's a very talented prick. Great emotive vocals and really great lyrics from Morrisey particularly on "I Know it's Over." The music on this album is also really good stuff that manages to be entertaining and engaging while still fitting the somewhat dreary and sad tone of a lot of the tracks. The album also manages to have a very consistent feel to it without getting boring or overly repetive. The album even manages to have some fun without distracting from some of the more powerful somber tracks. It's really great stuff all around.
Pretty good it's got a very unique sound which is cool. Strong vibe and feeling to the album. Some really cool moments but it can also get a bit repetitive and boring at points. Overall still a very competently done album with some particularly strong moments.

Pretty much as definitive as an album can be for it's era and genre. But it's not a totally perfect album the beats while good can get old with the repetitiveness on some of the tracks. And the storytelling on the album isn't always the most engrossing and can be kind of repetitive. Other than that the albums pretty much perfect, especially in regards to Nas' rhymes which are pretty unmatched.
A bunch of fun grooves.

Groovy
This albums greatest strength and greatest weakness lies in the fact that it is an hour of improvised piano. On one hand it's a very impressive display of Jarrett's immense talent. On the other hand it can't be much more than a display of Jarrett's talent. It's pretty enjoyable music but it's not like the albums about anything and since it's just a piano for an hour it ends up being more of a background listening experience.
Great music throughout lot of great songs but the album is a bit overfilled and some song run longer than necessary making the album as a whole very impressive but not as great as its height's.
Some interesting stuff is done with the synth on this album but generic drum machine beats, questionable vocals, and the repetive and often weak lyrics weigh this album down heavily. I'd rather listen to a D.A.R.E seminar
A lot of different sounds but they all blend together pretty well all in all it's pretty good but a bit long.
Pure sex. Really good production too. At times how pure sex it is can get a bit old but it's good stuff.
Really great music and lyrics. Some pretty interesting production as well. While not necessarily the most exciting songs in the world the length isn't really noticeable because the lyricism and musical talent are very engrossing. A really cool and innovative folk/country album.
Really inconsistent albums a lot of the songs are really fun and groovy and then sometimes it deng ding dong dong ding ding and then there's some questionable mixing/production on a lot of the tracks where it's just weirdly loud.
Bit of a bummer innit.
While I can appreciate this albums influence and acknowledge there is some cool stuff on it, it definetly does sound like it's one of the first hardcore punk albums which is to say it doesn't sound very good.
Really good production, good interesting flows, and serviceable lyricsm. Overall a really cool project.
Cool music, interesting lyrics, a cool experience all around but occasionally some of the tracks arent super engaging and don't really stand out.
This album makes me want to smoke cigarettes in a dark club with sunglasses on.
Catchy while still being unsettling an staying true to it's industrial roots. Lyrics and vocals convey the emotion of the album very effectively.
An album that's always pretty good and thoroughly enjoyable and easy to listen to but also suffers from a lack of really grabbing songs or exceptional moments.
