Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones
Sep 21 2022

There were some memorable and endearing parts, notably Wild Horses and Sister Morphine, but it felt bogged down by the rest of the album. Ultimately, I think this album would've benefited from a slight trimming. Still a pretty charming album, just not world-shattering.

Forever Changes by Love

I enjoyed it a lot. Not much else to say, this kind of thing is just right up my alley.

As someone who's heard more punk rock music than even the average punk rock enthusiast, I rate this as merely an extremely solid compilation entry in the garage rock revival-movement canon. Still, that is to say that it is enjoyable. I'm not rating this three stars for nothing.

We're Only In It For The Money by The Mothers Of Invention
Oct 11 2025

Man, Ariel Pink has seriously cramped on Frank Zappa's swag this whole time, hasn't he? Anyway, I'd only really been familiar with Zappa's work scoring the theme song for "Duckman" before this. Figures that such an eccentric personality would jump at the chance to score a show like Duckman. Needless to say, I loved this.
