Nevermind
Nirvanaclassic for a reason. crazy that "smells like teen spirit" is the opener. I found Kurt's vocals way more interesting this go-around than I used to. also amazing drumming from Dave.

tracks are a little long for what they offer. instrumentation was deliciously sparse on some songs. good stuff, not sure I'll be coming back to this particular album, though.
I get the draw of Leonard Cohen, for sure, but I thought the instrumentation was lacking. Lyricism was on point, though. His voice is veerryyy folksy. What is it with folk artists and that nasally semi-mono-tone?
classic for a reason. Just really solid rock and roll. Seven Seas of Rhye has long been a favorite track from Queen.
a pleasant surprise of an album. genuinely inventive alt-pop. even the remixes tacked onto the end of the version i listened to were good. my first 5-star album so far.
first album i've listened to twice in a row. great both times. Dolly's voice is clear as a bell and the instrumentation is tight as hell. Admittedly, I've slept on Ms. Parton a little, but I don't think I will any more. I should really head back to Dollywood at some point.
my brother is also doing this generator and kept suggesting these guys to me. probably should have listened bc this was really solid pop music. i enjoy most synth stuff, but this was especially well-produced. I listened to the 2018 remaster so that may have an influence, but it was solid nonetheless. good music to do mindless office work to.
I really enjoy the cadence and vocals of east coast rap of this era. Great instrumentation. These dudes were also kings of sound bites. Solid album, but nothing really stood out to me.
holy crap what a debut. so many classic tracks I've heard before but not known it was this band. catchy, loose, jangly instrumentation. fun and often weird lyrics. slightly horny. def gonna enter my rotation.
i mean come on. This one's a Certified Hood Classic (tm). deranged, obsessive, embittered - i get why all the goth kids from early 2000s were obsessed with NIN. instrumentation is wildly inventive, lyrics dark and frankly concerning. Good shit!
i like the bum tss bum tss beep boop music
yet another Wu Tang-related album. it's definitely hip-hop, with solid production and excellent rhymes. I'm just increasingly unsure if hip-hop is my genre.
weird and good. fun and interesting instrumentation.
fun! weird! reminds me of that one Antony and the Johnsons albums I have, especially the vocals. probably will not return to this one.
2nd prodigy album so far. definitely can see where "power of the land" comes from but i think this one is way more inventive and interesting. Voodoo People slaps HARD holy shit this has the HOW ITS MADE SONG ON IT i don't think i actually finished this one, but get the feeling that i got the jist of it
i sure listened to it it's got some catchy moments but nothing in particular stood out to me
this dude has a truly gargantuan career. he's seriously been making tunes since the 60s, and released a single as recently as last year. good album, fun rock n roll. probably won't come back to it
definitely not my usual genre. the lyrical content is intriguing but not enough to look into further. The band name and album title are lil misleading.
Dylan is a legend for a reason. weird but interesting voice, captivating lyrics, solid folk sensibilities. Not for me, but i get it.
this one was a surprise. I always assumed Radiohead was more radio-friendly pop sutff, but this album kinda came out of left field. very weird, very interesting. I enjoyed it
weird and gay, i liked it
This one was very very fun. I enjoyed the mix of house music and straight up rock and roll more than I anticipated.
I think i would like prog rock a lot better when I'm stoned. that being said, this was fantastically entertaining. I would love to catch a concert film. It's a shame prog doesn't get the same draw it used to.
There were some pretty catchy tracks, but honestly nothing to write home about. A miss.
Good! very long, though. fun 90s alt rock
flawless. non-stop bops. long, and some real gems get lost between the bangers. obvs the singles are iconic, but some of the interim tracks are just as excellent.
while this isn't typically my bag of tea, this album rips. You really can't deny the grooves, expert instrumentation, or the clear and classy vocals. this may not enter the rotation, but i may revisit every now and then. favorite track: song of love.
I should be surprised at how cohesive and consistent this album is. The instrumentation is tight and hits hard. Not crazy about the vocals, but that's about it.
