While this album is significant in the context of the evolution of Radiohead, I can't help but feel it's a bit underwhelming to be included in this collection of records. The experimentation is interesting but mostly forgettable. Favorites: How to Disappear Completely, Idioteque
It was pretty decent, nothing really stood out to me about the album though. Favorite: Wild Wood
I am partly convinced this album was only included for California Dreamin' and I'm okay with that. Other than that song this was a very long 30-something minutes. Favorite: California Dreamin'
This review will be continued. Favorites: Roundabout, Heart of the Sunrise
I'm not a big hip hop guy but I can appreciate how this record sounds.
I didn't really get too much into the story, but I still enjoyed the album. Favorite: Pinball Wizard
I really loved this one, I don't usually listen to much funk/soul so this was a treat. Favorite: That Lady, Pts. 1 & 2
I feel like a lot of it sounded samey but it had some standout tracks. Favorite: Synchronicity II
Absolutely love this album. Favorites: Stress, Waters of Nazareth
An absolute banger of an album, wonderful to revisit. Favorites: My Wave, Superunknown, Black Hole Sun
An extremely concerning album if you don't know that there's satire going into it.
This is one of those albums that must've sounded great when they created it at 3 in the morning then woke up the next day and realized it's absolutely not what they thought it sounded like.
After listening in the wee small hours of the morning, I think it may indeed be a good album for that time of day.
Bizarre but not off-putting surprisingly. I actually quite thoroughly enjoyed the sound of it. Favorite: Peaches
Really all over the place, didn't feel like I could get into it. Favorite: Train Train
Ah, this is why I know of them. Pretty decent stuff even outside the hits honestly.
This was every punk album ever created followed by an okay cover of Mrs. Robinson. It's not bad but it's not particularly interesting either.
It's alright, I think? I dunno there's some pretty odd stuff on here and it makes me wonder who this was made for.
This has to be one of the most abysmally boring albums I've ever heard. The fact that it's early electronica does not excuse them creating a mildly intriguing sound and then proceeding to do absolutely nothing interesting with it for several minutes at a time.
