1001 Albums Summary

I enjoy Psycho Killer, but don’t know that this is album I’d want to go back to on repeat.

Power Ballads and arena rock abound. The singles have transcended into omnipresent pop culture.

Like it more than I thought I would. Still don’t know that prog rock is for me. Epitaph was my favorite track.

Meh. Liked the bluesy vibe of Flying High, worth the listen for the song about LBJ, the Fantastic Four, and Doctor Strange. WTF.

A classic. Eleanor Rigby is a goddamn masterpiece

I only knew Sultan of Swing before this and really enjoyed the album

The back half was better than the front. There were a few songs I liked but overall it seemed kinda generic. Nothing stood out as particularly amazing or groundbreaking.

Ok but, wut? This album could be subtitled: The Blue Man group takes some Gregorian Monks and the Flute Player from Jetro Tull to a Children’s Museum. Where Trent Reznor runs the Dippin Dots stand. On the way there they run into some Hare Krishnas.
