Method ManI'm too white for this shit.
I'm too white for this shit.
Distorted fuzz tone, shitty vocals, shitty lyrics, and shitty songs.
Probably Van Halen's best. Great songs, great energy and a great musical delivery.
Boring hippie shit
Zzzzzzzzzzzz
A pile of cover songs of old rock and blues bands. Only one original Stones song and it's not a very memorable one. The performance is fine, but this album is nowhere near their best.
A hilarious shit-tier Peter Gabriel wannabe project. Whiny nasal-sounding little kids singing terrible lyrics is sped up and/or slowed down and dubbed over B-side instrumental passages. It's laughable, annoying and abysmal on every level. Couldn't even finish listening to it.
Riders on the Storm is the best song on the album, if a tad long. The whole album sounds more bluesy than the rest of their discography.
An album of acoustic guitar and vocal renditions of songs. The originals were all better. The only reason anyone cares about this album is because Johnny Cash is a legendary musician. If any other asshole not named Johnny Cash did this album it would be slammed.
Nothing at all special about this. Dull and forgettable. The fact that so many music critics gush over it just proves how pretentious and worthless most music critics are.
Lots of memorable, simple, catchy hooks. I can see why so many of these songs have been used in various media and advertising. Love the organ work. Songs all sound different from each other (but you can tell they are all performed by the same band/artist). A pleasant listen.
This is REM's shitty 80s college rock phase. It's probably their weakest album.
Forgettable, bland, generic pop shit. Not a fan of Madonna, but she has recorded better and more memorable stuff than this.
A bit of a mix of rockabilly and 70s glam rock. Sounds similar to the sound on the later albums by Stone Temple Pilots. Was probably an original sounding rock-pop album for its time, and it's very listenable.
I'm too white for this shit.
What a boring listen. Not a Springsteen fan, but this sounds like a dull Bob Seger album (not a fan of his, either). Not offensive to the ears, just not inspiring, amazing, or original in any way.
Metallica's first big letdown, and their last album that can be considered good. I liked this album a quite a bit for around a year when I was a dumb kid, but even then I was disappointed that it was more hard rock than the thrash they perfected on their first 4 albums. Nevertheless, production is great and this is a highly-accessible classic hard rock album.
A top-10 essential country music album. However, I am not a fan of country music, so I am not a fan of this album.
