The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Sep 20 2023

Classic and iconic album from the Prodigy. Never fails to boost the energy levels, great dance album. Can't help it to rave along with the crab from the album artwork. This album is a must to listen through your headphone as it has quite some pending with sounds travelling "through" your brain. Favourite songs: Smack My Bitch Up, Breathe & Firestarter Bonus points for me (accidentally) playing firestarter on the highway while driving past a car that was going up in flames.

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Sep 21 2023

I'm probably going to upset a lot of boomers, but I don't get the hype. A few months back Bruce had some concerts in my country and everyone kept talking about him, people camping to get front to. I did not know that he was like the Harry Styles from the 70s/80s. But well done Bruce, well done. Anyway as for the album, Bruce is a good singer and he has a good voice, but all songs sound relatively the same. Which is fair enough because it all has to sound coherent, but I was happy to see that it was just an 8 song album. Favourite song has to be the lead single; born to run

Blur by Blur
Sep 22 2023

Imo it will always be Blur > Oasis. Classic Blur sound, live Damon's voice and the good guitar riffs on this album. Throughout the album there is a good mix between heavy guitar riffs and slower, more emotional songs. Obviously, we can't talk about this album without acknowlodging the greatness that Blur has achieved with Song 2. Because let's be honest, everyone in the world has heard at least someone chanting that song once, it's just iconic. Anyway, it's a good album, not my most favourite of theirs, but definitely a good one Favourite songs: the punky sounds from Chinese Bombs & I'm just a killer for your love.

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Sep 23 2023

Reggae isn't really my go to Genre to listen to on a rainy day, so that slightly influenced the listening experience. Leaving that aside, it's a good album bringing some great vibes. It has inspired me to give a few more listens to the album I don't really have a song that stood out for me, thus so far in the first listen I don't have a favourite yet.

The Rolling Stones by The Rolling Stones
Sep 24 2023

The Stones are legendary, respect their legacy and all that. This album is certainly one important piece of music history. But to be fair, it isn't really my kinda jam although it definitely is great. Anyway it's awesome that after all these years that they're still relevant, touring and releasing new music. Nothing else but respect for the gentlemen

Odelay by Beck
Sep 25 2023

Although Beck is placed in my top 30 most listened to artist of 2023, I never really focused on his solo work (yes of course I've heard loser). I mainly know him from Possession Island (Gorrilaz ft. Beck) and from Night Running (Cage the Elephant ft. Beck). I'd definitely say I'm pleasantly surprised by listening this album, but almost ashamed that I never looked into Beck, because this is definitely an amazing album. It contains so many layers and different aspects, I'd definitely say I'm a fan after listening to this album. I'm happy to be introduced to this masterpiece!

NEU! 75 by Neu!
Sep 28 2023

For a casual listen it's probably going to be a no for me, at least for now, because I do believe that this is music that will grow on you. However, this album is definitely a yes as it comes to study music or while lounging and reading a book or something. It's good music and will definitely look more into NEU! To get more familiar with their work

Sep 29 2023

How could I have never heard of this band before. Because damn I've missed out. This album is a pure gem, I'm definitely going to listen to this album on a regular base. Love the sound of it. So far no specific favourites, because all of them sound great

American Gothic by David Ackles
Oct 01 2023

I understand that people enjoy listening to this album and type of music. But for me it's a bit too much theatre kid, it just isn't my thing really
