Meat Is Murder
The SmithsThe line “I think about life. And I think about death. And neither one particularly appeals to me” is a pretty great line. Loved the bass on Barbarism.

I love Arcade Fire. They had a great run of records. This being one of them.
I’d heard Blister in the Sun, Add It Up, and Gone Daddy Gone. Great album all the way through. Consistent sound throughout.
This album sparked my interest in jazz. I’d heard his name before, but I came across this album on vinyl on Amazon for dirt cheap. I had to pick it up. I spin it regularly. And often have the phrase stuck in my head. “A love supreme. A love supreme.”

I love this era of rock n roll, but I prefer Elvis’s live Vegas/King era stuff. But I enjoy listening to how his music changed over his career. For example, I’ve always loved his I Got a Woman, and it’s neat to see how it grew from this version to the bombastic song it became later in his career.
Quite enjoyable. Little Richard is full of energy, and sounds great!
I’ve got a devil’s haircut in my mind. All very simplistic but catchy. I can’t barely play any instrument, but I think I could replicate this album on my own. Novacane slaps. This is a very 90’s album. Several songs contains twangy country steel guitar, and will mix it with samples of rap. Not my favorite, but it works.
Really enjoyed the album. Had a good funkiness that I like!
I love The Doors. Though this is a great album, it’s not my favorite of theirs. Though this was the first time I’ve heard many of the songs.
Very soothing and melodic. Helped me get quite a bit of work done at the computer.

Great stuff, but not my favorite album from The Band.
