A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Oct 06 2023

Nifty little album. Not really into jazz, but it has a nice groove to it that I appreciate. Really good!

Oct 07 2023

Got me into rap. No bad tracks in here, excellent lyrics and talent from the Wu-Tang. The confluence of styles and voices only makes the whole thing better. Amazing beats as well.

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
Oct 08 2023

The first disc is absolutely flawless. Sir Duke, Summer Soft, Pastime Paradise, Love's In Need of Love Today its shining jewels. Overall great CD. Its soul, funk and borderline gospel sound flows perfectly and makes me feel at ease. Stevie Wonder is a musical genius. Second disc is also very good. It has a much calmer tone, instead relying on slower tempos for many of its songs. Loved this album! It surely got me interested in everything related to Stevie Wonder.

Purple Rain by Prince
Oct 09 2023

Wow. A classic album that everybody should listen to once in their life. I'd heard of Prince but I had never taken the time to listen to his discs. Loved most songs, especially (perhaps unsurprisingly) 'Purple Rain'.

Oct 10 2023

Liked it a lot. It's a pretty unfiltered, uncensored album, which I appreciate a lot in this day and age.

Abbey Road by Beatles
Oct 11 2023

What can I say that hasn't been said already? A masterpiece of modern music, and pretty much explains all by itself why The Beatles became what they are today.

Woodface by Crowded House
Oct 12 2023

It's alright. I liked "Weather With You" but the rest of the album is pretty lacklustre. It sounds like an REM record all the way, except the songs aren't that catchy or original. It's a decent album.

Oct 14 2023

Pretty cool jazz. Not much else to say, not my kind of music but regardless a very enjoyable and dynamic piece

Djam Leelii by Baaba Maal
Oct 16 2023

I like the atmospheric sound it generates. Almost sounds like something out of the Civilization games. Clearly this is a deeply cultural music genre, but the album is just not good. The tracks are repetitive and the singer's voice is monotonous. There don't seem to be any sparks of creativity or invention. I got bored after the third song. Also, why is it an HOUR long? Insane. Not good.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Oct 17 2023

Eddie's guitar is insane. I just thought the songs were a little too similar.

Astral Weeks by Van Morrison
Oct 18 2023

Can't decide on this one. I "kinda" liked it but I also despised most of the songs.

Vento De Maio by Elis Regina
Oct 20 2023

I love Brazilian music.
