Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Oct 09 2023

First Zeppelin I've listened to the whole way through, I think. Probably a strange place to start but honestly enjoyed the album. Tangerine stands out after first listen. The closer is really strange and weak compared to the rest of the album, but the rest is quite good. Immigrant Song is obviously classic, and tracks like Since I've Been Loving You or Bron-Y Aur Stomp make for a good listen the whole way through.

Solid album. Classic indie record. Feels like not the kind of music I’m into right now but I can still enjoy it. Obviously a few tracks I already knew. Purely rating this based off how much I want to listen to it right now. It’s a good album.

The Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden
Oct 11 2023

Not at all the kind of music I normally go towards, but it was honestly a really enjoyable listen. I love the instrumentation and the energy that carries throughout the entire record is a lot of fun. Number of the Beast, Run to the Hills, and the closing track are standouts. Only gave it one listen. Might try to revisit again.

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Oct 12 2023

Decent album. Starts strong. Probably a bit overrated. Not too much to say about. Probably didn’t give it the most thorough listen through.

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Oct 13 2023

Will go back and listen again. More of a Breakfast in America kind of guy but I should give it a shot still.

Play by Moby
Oct 16 2023

Really different kind of music from what I listen to. Probably a common theme. Actually kinda fun music. Probably won’t listen to it a ton but it had some good songs.

Jazzity jazz woo woo doo wop. Not much to say tbh. Never heard of War (the artist).

Green Onions by Booker T. & The MG's
Oct 18 2023

A really fun and groovy instrumental album. Feels nice to listen to in the fall. Nice to have in the background. Don’t know how to really feel about instrumental albums like this beyond that. Good grooves though!

Abbey Road by Beatles
Oct 19 2023

I mean this is about as classic as it gets. Starts off with some incredible tracks that are all time greats. The instrumentation is incredible throughout. The bass is killer on the entire album. Oh Darling, Something, and Golden Slumbers are probably my favourite tracks that I didn't really listen to already. Not really a weak point on the album. I thought it was really interesting how the back half of the album is comprised of these really short but fun tracks that just flow together. I'll definitely come back. First time listening though.

Quiet Life by Japan
Oct 20 2023

Didn’t listen to it too much but it’s a fun new wave vibe. I actually liked the sound from what I heard so I’ll have to go back and give it a better listen.
