1001 Albums Summary

Simon & Garfunkel are poets, pure and simple. The perfect album to put on if you’re in the mood to chill out and think about the world. Fav songs: Homeward Bound & The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feeling Groovy)

Although I’m not a huge U2 fan, this is an undeniably solid album! First five songs are very strong, with the second half of the album petering out to a more mellow, ballad feel. Could have benefited from reordering the tracks to keep the energy up. Fav songs: I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For and Running to Stand Still.

Progressive dad rock, eat your heart out. Too many instrumentals and over-indulgent tracks that went for waaaay too long. It’s a no from me. Fav song: America (ironically my favourite song was a cover).

Loved! The kind of music that you want to see live at a music festival.

Not my first listen of this album and won’t be my last. Love the sound and love what it paved the way for. Fav songs: Rudie Can’t Fail, Train in Vain (Stand By Me) and of course, London Calling

Such a mood and a perfect listen for a lazy afternoon. Fav songs: Wild At Heart & Dark But Just A Game
