- it's like spiritual, cinematic music, but the high moments on it aren't cool enough for me to sit through 10min songs for it
- some of the moments are beautiful though
- lord of the rings mountain vibes
- fetus music!!!
- yeah only a couple songs that have really cool moments
- lots of interesting/weird sounds
- in general I don’t like the moaning voice they use
- songs don’t have a sense of direction/melody
- usage of “boopy” technology sounds is cool
- production is highlight I think, not many words
- bpm is too low for me without other cool stuff going on
- I did like pyramids song, and that it was sampled in let’s start here by yachty
- it does just sound like b-sides from Kid A, which I don’t like either so
- ok I admit there are at least a couple cool moments; trumpet and was cool
- not enough for me to listen through the whole thing though
- I like thriller, beat it, and Billie Jean, but tbh this sound overall isn’t for me
- didn’t realize that Kanye sampled PYT in Good Life
- crusty and cringe
- like I really don’t like the female vocalist
- space invaders isn’t bad (when they don’t sing)
- the hits on the album are more tolerable but still not that good
- only parts I somewhat like are the instrumentals near the end of the song sometimes but they’re still mid, could probably find similar stuff with many other artists
- 80s radio
- I don’t think I can get past his moaning voice lol
- he’s so off beat as well
- instrumentation isn’t the greatest either
- Lazarus is tolerable
- I think his music is just not it for me
- sounds like beach music but he has an annoying voice
- I saved ONE song that was decent just so I have a reference of David Bowie 💀
- instrumental sounds a bit like old nature documentary music
- production isn’t horrible but once he opens his mouth it’s game over
- didn’t realize Kendrick sampled the first song
- melodies are nice and I like the acoustic production
- not really my kind of music but I can see how others would like it
- not quite groovy or interesting enough for me to listen to again
- actually not bad, it’s like playful rock music
- melodies aren’t anything crazy catchy for me though
- some of the instrumentals are pretty decent but the songs don’t have progression and the singing is nothing great
- stutter was my favorite song but still not good enough to save…
- instrumental not half bad, sort of calm
- lyrics and melody nothing to write home about
- almost like country, old American bar music
- at least the songs are short
- his voice is actually pretty annoying
- American girl was the best song, at least the most memorable
- already listened to this album before, maybe not all the way through though
- definitely got some rapping bangers, that I still listen to today
- concept and skits paint a pretty good picture
- some of the songs are so graphic I’d literally never listen to them though lol
- is he just talking over the music?
- sounds almost like a beer commercial
- instrumental of the first two songs are actually good (guitar strumming mostly)
- this is like straight up countryside music lol
- i liked the cover of bridge over troubled water
- not really a fan of the casual storytelling
- not my vibe but I can respect it
- interesting that he covers these folk songs
- classic le sexy sex song
- he has a good voice and instrumentation is nice
- i wouldn't listen to any of these songs individually though
- kanye spaceship sample on distant lover!!
- i hate sex sounds in songs (you sure love to ball) and the song is way too long
- totally not my style of listening music
- tacky billy Joel
- it’s almost boy band music
- but I’m not against it, it’s catchy
- some are annoying though
- instrumentation is surprisingly enjoyable
- jazzy, funky
- his voice is pretty high but clear and nice
- is it like a movie soundtrack?
- tunes don’t have much direction, not memorable
- actually not bad, some songs I’d listen to again
- reminds me of Billy Joel but more laid back and country
- some jazzy/funky elements
- I just realized, is this hippie music? No I guess not…
- finally something weird
- instrumental, techno, robotic music, even machines singing
- this is kinda trash though
- some of the production isn’t bad but it’s goofy
- better when he doesn’t “sing”…
- lighthearted rock music
- I don’t like that it’s live
- pretty boring in general tbh
- I like and recognize baby I love your way
- ok some songs have non boring parts
- industrial rock really is what it sounds like
- a little too edgy for me
- “god is dead” song
- I can see why social conservatives didn’t like the lyrics lol
- I’m not against some of it sonically but it’s not my cup of tea lyrically or the voice
- it’s basically repeated whispering over a decent electronic rock beat
- the becoming is the most decent song
- why is the best instrumental muffled
- didn’t realize Johnny cash was covering hurt in the previous album
- this is literally goofy ah music
- the weirdest mix of sounds and lyrics
- regiment is literally a groovy beat with a croaning lady over it
- it’s at least interesting to listen to
- chaotic neutral
- sounds like stereotypical rap music
- its tricky is instantly recognizable
- I get it was iconic and new for its time but this just sounds corny and ironic
- interesting they made a whole song about adidas
- is walk this way a cover or original?
- for me this is just straight up bad…
- the beatboxing is trash lollll
