Obwohl das Album monoton klingt, kann ich keinen richtigen „Albumfluss“ raushören. Hört sich überwiegend an wie Tankstellenmusik, aber gute Tankstellenmusik. Lindsey Buckingham hat eine geile Stimme.

Sind zwar 3 Sterne, für mich aber eig eher was zwischen 2 und 3 Sternen.
Bin eigentlich kein Fan des Genres, aber trotzdem hat es mir gefallen. Gefühlt wäre 4 Sterne aber zu viel, also bleibt es wieder bei 3
I encountered the song of the same name for the first time over 10 years ago on YouTube, when it was put under Charlie Chaplin's final speech as The Great Dictator. It took me a while to find the video again (https://youtu.be/zIBEDsKeTCo?si=I6a2xAxBz_CVWL-1, not even 1000 views lol) - if someone hasn't heard the speech, it's definitely worth a listen, but off-topic. The opening track is just unbelievably powerful, instant five. George Clinton apparently told Eddie Hazel to play the guitar in the first half as if he had just found out that his mother had died, and in the second as if he had just found out that she was still alive. I think you can hear the emotions (and the acid even more so) come through. Bombe! Anyone who's into long guitar solos might also want to check out Estas Tonne. I have to admit, I couldn’t get past the first song, since I listened to it so often.

Unfortunately the only country music I can listen to is in opening scenes of horror movies.
Although I've never listened the album directly, every song seemed familiar. Underlines the impact they had on the pop genre. Good songs, although nothing I will listen to frequently I think.
Very fun to listen to
Tried really hard to find something good to say about this album, but it seems like they just discovered the concept of sampling other music. Any kid in the 80's/90's with a MPC does this in a more complex manner though. 2 stars for the choice of the samples, but thats about it
