Didn’t realize so many hits on this album. Read on Wiki the most songs in his greatest hits come from this. 5 singles.

Who cares

Some real good songs on there! Radio Free Europe, Catapult stood out.

Listened in the office and on the train. A train took a while. Man leaning on A train. Lots of thoughts and feelings even though simplistic. Ended at 145th street.

Ran the loop in the fall woods with golden sun. Thought of my dad listening to them for the first time. Kept steps with the band. Happiness.

Couldn't finish it. Sad rainy day. His voice is glorious but sort of always the same? Reading his biography, his industrial British roots, anti-hero fuck the queen, queer bending and political bravado. Exhausting on a day like today. Maybe some other time.

Influential, well known songs. Raw, not great. How is this the same band that rocks in The Last Waltz? Ah well.

Not in the mood today but definitely very good. Game changer in hip hop.

Alternative rock not really my style but another seminal album. Leading into the next 20 years of alt rock. Nirvana, Silversun Pickups, etc. Good bass lines. Listened at home just ate breakfast tacos.

Banger. Mannish Boy to start? Legend.

Too slow for my tastes. Tried working out with it, instead blasted workout music and had a BLAST. Got me on a good track. Guess Tom helped.

Banger. At the gym, listening to Gimme Three Steps on the stair climb. Simple Man to slowly get biking before cranking into workout mix. Finish with Alejandro on the treadmill. Great stuff.

Slow, didn’t bother

Started listening coming out of the office at night. Night Life. Thought about the bright lights, drinking, being at the bar. How it was lonely and sad. But also how you feel lonely and sad, what friends truly love you? Never heard of Ray Price, will listen to more.

Not the Smiths again

Walking home from IDB, to Columbus Circle. Dark and rainy but beautiful. I love this city. Perfect walking album. Will I be doing it from Park? Growing at Bryant Park? Time will tell. Too bad they didn't really do anything else. Learned This is the One is played at Old Trafford before every Man U game. Home and happy.
