One of the Best, Which is saying a lot, Stevie Wonder LP's. Rock, Soul, Funk, everything you want from this Musical Genius
Half the Hooters play on this record and its a Muscular Pop Record. Money Changes Everything is a standout & Time after Time has become a standard
Incredibly Crafted POP Album. Her Voice Never Sounded Better & the Production Rivals that of Steely Dan's AJA. This is BY FAR Her Best Album
Infectious POP, Good LP, But not Great, though the Energy is off the Charts
Simple yet Creative. It Still holds up today. The Velvets were short lived but their Impact on Rock music cannot be denied
Probably the Most Energetic Performer The USA Has Ever Produced. Hot Funk & Cool Soul, Need I say More. The man was a Walking Fire Ball Great Album, Great Documentation of Him as a Performer & Band Leader. The Fact is, Springsteen Borrowed a lot from James Brown & Otis Redding forms live shows. But James Brown was the Master
Probably my 3rd Favorite Stevie Wonder LP. Not Quite as Good as Innervisions , But Boogie On Reggae Woman is still a killer cut
Incredible Musicianship.
The man has Talent Oozing out of his Veins. A Mixture of Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Blues & funk. Each song will have you Dancing and singing. A Great Album
I discovered this group recently when I was traveling Cross country. At first listen, I did not like it , but I listened to it a few more times & found the Groove Iresistable. Few Artists can combine Classic Rock riffs with Progressive Melodies like this band. I hope to see them Live soon. Every serious Music collector should own a copy of this LP.
Arguably the Very First Punk Rock Record. Certainly the one most accessible that had real melodies & often funny lyrics. At first they were considered a Step below a garage band, but in time they proved that a 2 Minute Song with just Drums,Bass & Guitar could speak volumes. Recorded for less money than a cheap Japanese car cost, songs like "I wanna Be Your Boyfriend" & "Blitzktieg Bop" are shots of Musical adrenaline. Some of the songs are completely unpolished, but thats what adds to the charm. ThisLP Marks the minute when Rock n Roll did a reset and returned to what this music was in the first place- Primal, Fast, Cocky and fun to dance to
Fantastic lp Great energetic rock Top notch production
Horrible lp Nothing to like about this lp Except the album cover
Todd plays all the Instruments himself and provides all the voices as well Early 70's POP that would become his signature sound up until today. Great songs like "Hello its Me" and "see the Light" were radio staples on FM for years
One of the Greatest Jazz Combos of all time. Listen the Complexity of a song like "This Bird has Flown" or the Silky smooth Horns on "Come and Get it if you Want It". A Great Jazz Record, up there with Miles Davis "Kinda Blue"
The Flamin Groovies are one of the most underrated Groups of all time. just Listen to "Hairs on Fire", its a mixture of Zappa Meeting John Coltrane. Or "Leave the driving to Me", a Fantastic Blues Flavored romp. Their Guitarist Jim Washburn is a great Rhythm player and Dex Mannings Vocals are powerful , much like Steve Marriott. The only Clinker on this LP is their Version of "Coffee And Tea", its too mellow. But the Rest of the LP is a Musical Joy
Best Iggy album ever. Punk pop rock It gets no better than this
Awful
My Favorite Album of all time. You must own this LP if you consider yourself a real music fan. We played this entire LP at my Wedding and everyone danced til they could stand no more. If there was a "gone with the Wind" equivalent in Rock, this is it. Buy it Play it Buy another one after you wear it out!
Anyone refers to this Guy or LP As Genius, doesn't know music. This is not worth the time of day Awful,Childish, Amateurish. BTW Did I say I Don't like it? Don't waste your time
The Doors are 1 of the Best 5 US Bands Ever , their music is a mixture of Rock, Poetry & the Absurd. Just like Every Guitarist wanted to look like Kieth Richards, Every lead Singer wanted to look like Jim Morrison.Robbie Krieger infused Jazz Riffs in Rock Songs. John Densmore's drumming was always creative & Ray Manzerek Seemed to hold the whole thing together.Every serious Rock fan needs to own this Album. Along with their 1st LP and Strange Days, its one of their best
