1001 Albums Summary

I had only really ever heard Me Myself and I. While I still think it is the best song on the album the rest is a super eclectic and interesting hip hop mix. Really cool sampling. Skits are weird but I know they became a rap staple. Really enjoyed it and then being prompted to read about its influence on the genre.

Meh. Didn't realize how many songs I had heard before were on this album but nothing really stands out. Totally fine, not an album made for me which is okay.

It is a good album. I enjoyed quite a bit of it. Folks music though is generally not for me

First half of this record is incredible. 3-5 big hits and great songs. Back half not nearly as good but not terrible either.

Much different than what I was expecting. I've never really listened to anything of his before. Not my favorite genre or style wise but I appreciate the musicianship

Pretty easy listening collection of pop rock. Not my cup of tea but there are some catchy things here.

Really enjoyed this. Old school interesting punk.
