Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake
Nov 20 2023

A wonderful album that encapsulates the sixties sound. You can hear that British sound sliding through.

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Nov 21 2023

While I am not a huge Fleetwood Mac fan, this album has so many good sounds. I like the different directions they take this album.

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Nov 22 2023

This one came as a wonderful surprise. I expected to listen as background music but found myself constantly stopping to give the album my full attention. An amazing Jazz piano album.

The Yes Album by Yes
Nov 23 2023

Much better than I remembered Yes. I like the jade and psychedelic influence.

Nov 24 2023

This album hits hard. Initially it is easy to say an artist facing the end of his career; however, this reflects Johnny Cash looking at the end of his life. He and Rick Ruben find emotional perfection. What a tremendous way to put a cap on 35 albums. So powerful that he takes over some of the covers he performs.

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Nov 25 2023

I forgot so much about Elvis. I liked that this offered a different song selection. Still, I look forward to something from earlier in his career. I think much of my rating in this one stems from nostalgia. I do live hearing him sing “Suspicious Minds.”

Trio by Dolly Parton
Nov 26 2023
Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Nov 28 2023

This was a really interesting sound and one I am embarrassed to admit I had not heard before today. I enjoyed it and will definitely listen again.
