1001 Albums Summary

Already listened to this many times. Have it on vinyl and used to have the deluxe edition CD. A stone cold classic. You can really melt away in the longer songs.

Pleasant enough Jazz album. Enjoyable to listen to while working and wanting to limit distractions but not something I would reach for regularly.

Incredible album. Own it on vinyl. The best starting point for Bowie and has my favourite Bowie song "Moonage Daydream"

Quite Pleasant. Just not really something I would reach for too frequently.

Have this one on Vinyl. I think its pretty overrated and nothing special about it at all. I like chucking it on once or twice a year in the lead up to Christmas (obviously) but I don't think it is a significant recording by any means.

Enjoyed this enough and there is a mood where I really enjoy listening to the Blues so could see myself appreciating this much more in a bar with dim lighting and a nice beer.

Not really my thing but fine enough. Can't see myself returning to this.

This was not something I instantly loved. Reminded me too much of early Springsteen to the point where I found it distracting. On the last listen I was going to give it, something clicked and I thought it was quite good. Will continue to have this in rotation for a while and I will also look to dive deeper into Elvis Costello.

Big Band / Swing is not a big interest of mine but found this pleasant enough while working.

Has some good classic songs on it but overall not something I think I will reach for too often.
