1001 Albums Summary

First time listening to these and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, I liked the clear music and riffs and the lead singers vocals are pretty unique. Quite consistent sound across the whole album, some songs blended well from one to the next. 6/10

Was not as captivating at the start, however I really liked how the songs became more connected towards the end of the album, and how it had an ending related to the start song. 5/10

Unique sound for the time but it didn't do much for me now, felt like a lot of filler songs and lacked some of the variety from later Gorillaz albums with the many collabs. 3/10

Had no idea what to expect with this, but thought it was very good. Not sure I can specify why; it was quite haunting but powerful, and you really feel the emotion and meaning behind the lyrics, which is accentuated by the light acoustic music in the background. 8/10

The songs I had heard before were the best ones on this, but there were a few more that were still good that I didn't know. Not totally consistent sound over the album, which was not bad as it keeps it fresh. Easy listen with some real catchy songs. 6/10

One of my favourite albums anyway, really unique songs and great at sticking to the overall themes. Not any particularly weak songs, don't know how more to say why I like this album so much, just really good listen start to finish. 10/10

Not into this kind of music at all. Suppose it is well enough made and sounds good, but it does nothing for me. 2/10
