1001 Albums Summary

I really enjoyed listening to the album, the overall sound was great and there weren't many songs that I didn't like. I especially liked "the drowning man" and "surrender". It's a 3.5 for me.

I am really unsure of how I feel about this album. When I first started listening to it I found that it was quite boring and monotonous. But after some time I could imagine listening to it over loud speakers on a long drive, It's athmospheric and more about the vibes I think. Definitley not like the usual stuff I listen to. Intro was probably the best one, I also liked Infinity. The instrumentals on the album do sound really nice at times. Maybe I'll enjoy it more after listening to it a couple of times but for now I'll give it 2/5.

I am probably a bit biased with this review, but this is one of m favorite albums of all time. I think this album is a masterpiece that took a lot of creative and musical talent to make. One thing I've always loved about the album is how the songs seemlessly blend into eachother. It creates a complete listening experience, that makes me want to listen to it in full. I could say so much more about it if I had the time. It's a 5/5 and not many pieces of music come close to it in my opinion.

I really love the Pixies and I've never heard this album before so I was really excited to get this one. I think it truly did not disappoint as it incapsulates their grunge sound really well, which is what I love about them. My favorite on this one is probably "The Happening". 4/5
