I enjoyed this album. After reading some of the reviews I went in with low expectations. I think that kept me open and that led me to want to give this album another listen in the future.

happy i got another chance to listen to this album. such a beautiful voice. so much passion and pain.

A classic that will always remain a favorite. I initially didn't fuck with Kendrick back when this album came out, couldn't stand his flow but then I thought about Ornette Coleman. He had an ability to weave in and out of music because he had a mastery of the saxophone and I realized Kendrick Lamar had a similar mastery of his voice. I know have a deep appreciation for how he manipulates his voice, its refreshing.

it was okay. isnt something i would have listened to if not for this app. very bluesy/folky which i dig.

first song in...this album is two years. i dont see myself listening to all of this. okay it sounds pretty relaxing so far. ill let this ride in the background while i get other things done
