Love Marley!
Cinnamon Girl. Down By the River. Cowgirl in the Sand. With the original Crazy Horse. Classic Neil.
Untouchable.
So disappointing, having explored the production of The Clash, previously, but now recognized as a classic.
Not my cup of tea (fully realizing that this 60+ dude is not exactly the target audience.
Have been listening to this record since its release ever though I’m a rock and roll guy. Very advanced when you’re reminded that it’s analog/pre-digital.
Don’t quite know why but Brubeck’s never been my guy. Guess he’s a little genteel for me, a lover of Bird, Coltrane, Monk, Cecil Taylor, etc.
Can’t go wrong with any of the LPs released in his lifetime. The posthumous releases are hit or miss (often on the same album).
One of my all-time favorites by any band of any period or genre, including RH. Stellar!
Prog is not my thing. Have tried and tried to no avail.
Ummm. He’s an icon, but all I can take is about three songs. Too precious for me!
Ubiquitous in the ‘70s. Impressive for its sonic advancement at the hands of Tom Scholtz. But ultimately a vapid piece of work with no relevance to the times in which it was created, nor today.
Burke is the real deal. Can’t go wrong!
