1001 Albums Summary

Good ol' Led Zeppelin! Great guitar, I can take a bit, but not the whole album. Now that I've heard Dolly Parton do 'Stairway to Heaven', I like her version better. That was our High School Prom Theme song

I had not heard of Arctic Monkeys, I did listen to the album. I did not care for this type of music.

Great sax! Bluesy jazz

Isaac Hayes has a very soulful voice. I liked the 'One Woman' song, not so much the other songs. By the time a get to Phoenix was more like a slow ballad. I'd need to listen to it several times to get the whole story. I do like Isaac's voice.

I enjoyed this album. He's got a great voice and many of the songs are "easy listening". I added a couple of the songs to one of my playlists. I'd rate this up at 4.5 if we had that option

Once hearing the first strums of the acoustical guitar, I knew I would really enjoy this album. Nick Drake has a great voice and variety.

She's got talent and a great voice, but I can only handle a little of her music at a time. Thus the 3 star rating.
