1001 Albums Summary

Pretty good, for country. Some better songs, some meh songs but overall good.

Solid britpop album. Not my favorite genre but stills seems pretty ok.

One of the last albums where every member had their own important contributions.

The songs were okay but it didnt really hook me. I found his style of writing sometimes to be a little Syd-Barretish, which is fun but not always my favorite style.

The first lets say 3/4 of the album are actually pretty good (never listened to a hip-hop album before), i like the concept of a quiz show. But after "De la orgee" it gets wierd, dont really like the last part but anyway.

Once again an album that is ok but seemed nothing special.

Its close to being just a "normal" rock album but somehow it has just enough speciality to not be one.

The synthie minimalism rock didnt really catch me.

The album was good, but imo not too dynamic. Since Butch Vig produced it, I take "Nevermind" as an example: you got the quiet songs, sad songs, loud songs, wild songs and pop songs. I think "Garbage" could have these dynamics too, because the singer definitly has some talent.

When I read that it was punk/noise-rock I instantly thought of a Nirvana/NiN mix (idky). It was okay but the mixing was not my style.
