The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Jan 08 2024

Instrumental. Like this a lot! Relaxing w pep. Famous live piano performance. Not exactly my style, but good stuff.

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Jan 09 2024

No for me. Sound doesn’t resonate.

Stankonia by OutKast
Jan 10 2024

No. But I did try. Foul and anti cop lyrics.

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Jan 11 2024

Recognize the greatness and popularity of PF. I did listen to a lot of it. Used to think I hated them, but turns out it’s just not my thing. I did imagine that folks who heard this when it actually came out, must have blown them away. Also, they were known as Megadeaths! Didn’t know this; During "Part 1", the protagonist, Pink, begins building a metaphorical wall around himself following the death of his father. In "Part 2", traumas involving his overprotective mother and abusive schoolteachers become bricks in the wall. Following a violent breakdown in "Part 3", Pink dismisses everyone he knows as "just bricks in the wall."

Group Sex by Circle Jerks
Jan 12 2024

Not for me.

Queen II by Queen
Jan 15 2024

This album is good example of how hard it is to make popular music. Obviously it’s Queen, but wasn’t catchy to me. But not really a big fan of Queen.

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Jan 16 2024

Hard no.

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
Jan 17 2024

I don’t hate it surprisingly. Some scotch, corduroy pants, a fire with my dog, then it might work. Cool name history - English dandy guy.

Ramones by Ramones
Jan 18 2024

Iconic yes. Every song sounds the same, like one very long song. OG gets them at least 2 stars.

California by American Music Club
Jan 19 2024

Can’t imagine being a music producer and listening to a million songs like these to find a good one.

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Jan 22 2024

Very good. British indie pop. 1 song I knew. Listened to whole thing.

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Jan 23 2024

Several songs I knew. Reminds me of Kurt Cobain and also Palm Desert. I hope Sinatra was a good guy. Will look into that.

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Jan 24 2024

This put me in a bad mood. I don’t see the attraction to DB.

Suicide by Suicide
Jan 26 2024

Hard no. Sounds like a guy in his parent’s basement messing around with a synthesizer. Plus the name.

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Jan 30 2024

She’s good. I woke up singing her song though, that was a bit annoying and cost 1 star.

21 by Adele
Jan 31 2024

She’s good. I woke up singing her song though, that was a bit annoying and cost 1 star.

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Feb 09 2024

Based on the time of life this came out and the great memories associated with it, extra 1/2 star, so 5.
