Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Jan 10 2024

half way through. Classic early Stones; Jagger's voice somewhat "undeveloped" at this point versus older stuff. Some of the songs have a gospel like feel while others have a twangy Blue Grass/Country sound. Interesting mix. Also noticing how albums back then had sooo many songs! Most short, but many.

The Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden

Not my type of music. Vocals are awful and most of the songs sounded the same? Never was a fan of "heavy metal".....

OK Computer by Radiohead

vocals are awful. Sounds like these "musicians" are playing different songs at the same time; no flow, no balance, nothing cohesive in what I was willing to listen to. There isn't a Zero Star rating so I guess I'll have to go with 1 Star sadly

2112 by Rush

I get the rock feel and liked the instrumentation of the music itself but was never a fan of the lead vocals. give it a 2 for good 'ole rock.

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Jan 31 2024

Nope, just couldn't relate....

London Calling by The Clash
Feb 05 2024

The OG of British Punk Rock and they lasted longer than many others. Appreciated that not all the songs sounded the same. And the best song was the last one; one of their more popular songs Train in Vain. Finally I heard one I recognized. Nice flashback to the early days of punk rock for the late 70's/80's.
