Basically just singing over an acoustic guitar. Lyrically it is nothing special but there is something beautifully simplistic about the album. It’s definitely not an album that would be in my regular rotation but it certainly has its place. Which Will was the highlight of the album for me. I also really enjoyed Horn. 3/5

Funky jazz. Definitely reminds me of sci fi from that era. Definitely not my cup of tea, even as far as jazz is concerned. I can, however, appreciate the artistry and do understand why it was revolutionary at the time.

Jazzy rock. First and last song killed the album

Not my style of music. Pretty typical 70s rock. Found learning about Jim Morrison and the lore around the band interesting but I really did not enjoy the album.

Iconic songs but not my cup of tea

Somewhat soothing I suppose but something I could listen to only as background noise

Very typical of rock from that time period. Nothing stood out to me as particularly special.
