So by Peter Gabriel

That third track was one of the worst things I’ve ever heard. Sacrilegious to Kate Bush frankly

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Jan 17 2024

A great record for sure, feels like them at their best while their ideas and motifs were still fresh and inspired. Not something I’ll return to often, but definitely an album that deserves its accolades in music history

The White Album by Beatles
Jan 18 2024

So long, just impossible to stay engaged without a narrative structure running throughout an album of this length. But, still a classic of course and worth visiting from time to time

A great record actually, one I’ll add to the rotation for sure. Only gets marked down for a few tracks that feel too different in tone from the others in order to truly feel cohesive throughout

Moondance by Van Morrison
Jan 20 2024

Didn’t give this my full attention when it played but it felt very reminiscent of the early 70’s, kinda a nice blend between R and B and rock. Didn’t feel compelled to add it but certainly a good record

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Jan 21 2024

Exactly what a lyrical album should be. Enjoyed this way more than I thought I would’ve.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Jan 22 2024

About what I expected which was a respectable album with some highlight singles, definitely not something I’ll need to return to

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Jan 23 2024

The New York Ray Barretto

Scott 2 by Scott Walker
Jan 24 2024

This was wild, maybe would’ve landed in a different context but I was not vibing with this at all

Smash by The Offspring
Jan 26 2024

Shockingly great record. Like Sublime meets Metallica, and definitely an instant classic. May increase to 5 stars over time but I give it 4 for now only due to the lack of variety throughout the record.

Jan 27 2024

A lyrical album, but one of the best to lean into lyric rock I’ve heard and they define the genre to some extent with a few of their records. Definitely a nice album

Violator by Depeche Mode
Feb 04 2024

This was honestly great, listening to personal Jesus again brought me right back to playing 2K as a kid and the album really picked up as it found its stride. I’ll keep it downloaded for sure

Ill Communication by Beastie Boys
Feb 13 2024

Solid pick, I feel like it’d grow on me like Check Your Head did over time but as of now it falls short

Penance Soiree by The Icarus Line
Feb 16 2024

This was something else, maybe in the right headspace it’d be palatable but I was not feeling it

So by Peter Gabriel
Feb 18 2024

That third track was one of the worst things I’ve ever heard. Sacrilegious to Kate Bush frankly
