Deloused in the Comatorium
The Mars VoltaNot bad but I would never listen to this again.
Not bad but I would never listen to this again.
Piano playing was very nice and some good songs, but overall felt pretty samey. Probably wouldn't listen again.
This is music for other people.
Crazy that they sampled Kendrick on track 1! How did they go into the future like that? Lots of great stuff here but some not so great stuff too.
Had potential to be a 4 but just slightly too samey for me. Lots of good songs though
Not at the level of TPAB but an excellent album with a lot of good music. Probably one too many skits but I think they do add to the overall vibe of the album.
Probably incredibly forward thinking at the time and I like the idea but entirely forgettable for me.
Quite a nothing album. Happy feeling is a certified banger though.
Jesus wept.
Nothing really interesting here.
This is my favourite album. My girlfriend hates it. Looking at other reviews it's definitely polarising!
Loved the really DIY sounding production - everything was better when it wasn't clean.
Why did I have to hear this before I die?
Neither ambient or something to pay attention to. Surely influential but not for me.
Definitely a 3½, plenty of lovely songs, second half is a bit of a miss for me. Sorry, gotta go seek the breast of darkness and be suckled by the night.
Blown away by this one. Wasn't expecting much but songs I'm excited to hear again!
He's good on the guitar thing but the songs aren't that good.
Not bad but I would never listen to this again.
Pretty middle of the road, wore its influences on its sleeve
Rikki Don't Lose That Number is a huge tune and the rest had something going for it but I didn't save much!
Basement Jaxx have been the soundtrack to a lot of my life. The maximalist production definitely isn't for everyone, but it suits me to a T. Could listen to every track on repeat except "U Can't Stop Me" and "Same Old Show"
Better than I'd expected!
Cranes in the Sky is a 10/10.
