Get Behind Me Satan by The White Stripes
Feb 05 2024

Some pretty solid tracks. 60s era rock/folk vibes, but on the best sounding tracks I feel like I am listening to a slightly tweaked cover of an older song I can't quite place.

Harvest by Neil Young
Feb 06 2024

Its okay. I like it fine, but I feel like a lot of the stuff I already know well from that era is the same, but better. The most famous track on this album is probably Heart of Gold, which is about as good as one of The Band's worse songs.

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Feb 08 2024

It's good, but it's but not really my exact vibe.

Since I Left You by The Avalanches
Feb 09 2024

Chill and interesting and meditative

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Feb 12 2024

Decent sound, but pretty clear why she only ever had the one song get super popular.

Arular by M.I.A.
Feb 14 2024

It was good. Some of the songs were a bit aggro for me. I could see getting into it in the right context, but not really a sit-and-listen for me.

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Feb 15 2024

So I def told people 'this is SHIT!' back in the day without really ever listening to it, so I'll cop to that. That said its... okay. I didn't mind listening to it but there wasn't really any part that grabbed me super hard. I feel like its very much of an era.

Something/Anything? by Todd Rundgren
Feb 16 2024

Generic and inoffensive I feel like this was definitely a certain type of guy's fuck record in 1972. Nothing in particular to hate nothing in particular I loved

Lady Soul by Aretha Franklin
Feb 20 2024

Classic and timeless. Never listened to most of the songs on this album.

Feb 22 2024

Legit pretty bad. There's the one good song, tainted Love, but it's a cover apparently and the rest of the album is a totally different vibe. A lot of quite bad melodic vocals

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Feb 26 2024

I enjoyed this one. I'll always listen to Jimi play guitar, but I didn't really notice anything that was super memorable vs his really well known stuff.

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Feb 27 2024

Really quite good. Besides the last track, which I bet a lot of people think actually is a Beatles song it sounds like a Beatles album you've never heard played much, that makes sense given it was recorded at Abbey road

California by American Music Club
Feb 28 2024

Actually bad. Generic and uninspired almost country. Nothing on this I haven't heard someone else do better.

Apr 12 2024

Mid. I can see why common has more of an acting career than a music career
