1001 Albums Summary

I absolutely love EVERY single song on this album -- such an influential sound both in 1977 and still today

i like "Hey Joe", "Stone Free", and "Remember"

this was my first time hearing this artists. i wasn't really vibing with the sound BUT i didn't realize the Killers' song "Shadowplay" was original a Joy Division song...so that was a fun discovery

truly such a powerful voice -- always amazed

some of the songs are a little harder of a sound than i typically choose for myself. iconic voice though -- no one sounds quite like anthony. under the bridge is a classic. silly lyrics (sir psycho sexy). kind of giving dispatch vibes (castles made of sand).

surprisingly had SO much fun listening to this. new artist for me but was bopping. started with the famous ones: ready or not, fu-gee-la, killing me slowly, no woman no cry (bob marley cover)

"message in a bottle" is always such a fun listen!! was unfamiliar with the rest of the album...had more of a raggae sound than I was expecting
