Began really really well and I was totally digging the use of samples and Hill's vocals but then I felt it got a little samey
A somewhat uninspiring journey through constant funk and innuendos. What shines is the musicianship, Frusciante, Flea Chad Smith all work overtime to keep the groove. What lets this album down unfortunately is Anthony's vocals. While they are rhythmically catchy, the semi-shouted word vomit that plagues every song lets the whole album down. That being said, Under the Bridge slaps
Pretty solid blend of genres, at some points reminiscent of LCD Soundystem, then moments of country, then some pretty banging alt-rock An album that feels like it was alot of fun at the time for the band but perhaps results in an uneven mix of songs that feel personal and intimate, and those that feel short and basic
You can almost feel the excitement in the room in 1964, watching blues brilliance play out on stage. Sure, to us constant 12-bar blues may seem boring, but there is something especially mellow about listening to this live album on a Sunday morning, King's soft guitar tone pulsing in the background
A marvel of Jazzy adventure from beginning to an end. An album that feels mellow, yet catches you with blasting walls of sound when you are least expecting them. Pretty wonderful, pretty calm
An album that was stronger towards the end, perhaps because I had gotten used to Ladd's erratic, discordant style. The Animist and Feb. 4 '99 stand out as the most musically pleasing and interesting songs, however they tend to get lost in a muddy cloud of discordant sound
An exuberant catapult through moments of dissonance and unpredictability, true musicianship. That being said, it is not necessarily an easy listen, rather an appreciative listen
Some of the guitar on this record is brilliant, yet it all feels somewhat predictable

I am incredibly bias, but this album is W after W. Not a singular flop
Having never managed to get into the beatles deeper cuts, barely grazing the surface with their earlier and most popular hits, this was a breath of fresh air. While at times it feels convoluted and confused by its own being, there are some tracks ("tommorow never knows" "Doctor Robert") that feel genuinely fresh...
Some incredibly dreamy/nostalgic/nightmarish soundscapes are created in this album. At times they feel perfect and you get wholly lost in them. At other times they feel muddy and discordant, leading to a jagged listening experience
An incredibly organic blues journey that feels so raw and intricate
Each song feels bubbly and fresh, despite its age and no idea is overdone in the short runtime
So good so so good just feels lush and clever and happy
So much nostalgia, not perfect but still wearing rose-tinted glasses. Map of the Problematique is brilliant
This record feels clunky but in a brilliant way. The jagged guitar lines were clearly an influence on the strokes and the vocals are so passionate and energetic
Some pretty straight forward, yet wholly fun punk-rock/new-wave tunes. Feels bubbly and youthful
pretty simple but effective late 90s, radiohead/coldplay esque guitar rock
