1001 Albums Summary

Have not heard this album in like 7-8 years! Kiss Off had me dancing at my desk and kicked off a little introspection on how far I've come since I first got into this album. Living in Milwaukee wasn't on my mind, I was smoking heavily, and was just getting into playing the bass more seriously.

Have never heard this album in it's entirety. I've known about Weird Fishes/Arpeggi for a handful of years and that was my favorite of the album. Not bad overall, not sure how often I'll go back and listen to this one.

Handful of good songs on here. I enjoy more songs on El Camino, but this album does have it's fair share of classics.

Not an everyday listen, but it has fun energy to it and a solid groove.

Yeah it's a good one and has a lot of hits on it, but it's not my favorite Steely Dan album.

Solid jazz for work.

Loved it. Might be a 5. Majority of the songs were awesome and have been sampled in a lot of songs I love.

Enjoyed Time of the Preacher and Remember Me (When the Candle Lights Are Gleaming) the most I'd say. The duplicates of Time of the Preacher made me like the album less lol. Classic country album though and I'm happy I listened.

Pretty standard alternative rock album from the 90's. Only one song I actually "liked". Dixie Drug Store was pretty good, but again, it sounds like a standard 90's alt rock group. Musicians sound talented, but this is a forgettable album.

Front loaded with some fun ones. Fell off about halfway through and didn't end up finishing.

Kind of fun to listen to. I liked a few of the songs, but won't return to this one. Sounded cool for coming out in 1969.
