1001 Albums Summary

First half is pretty solid. Title track and Jesus of Suburbia are standouts.

Pixies best imho.

Some good tracks on this one, album as a whole not as exciting as previous albums.

I felt like I was watching a French movie the whole time. It was really good musicianship, but I doubt I’ll come back to it anytime soon.

I agree the songs were too repetitive and started to grate on me. Would not re-listen or recommend.

Not my favorite of his albums but a great listen with some really cool ideas happening throughout.

Not a big Sonic Youth fan, there’s better bands who put out this kind of music.
