Rubber Soul was a toe in the trippy pool, Revolver was the cannonball. Put youself in the place of a kid in 1966 dropping the needle on this bad boy. Talk about getting your mind blown. This was the most popular band in the world getting a head full of acid and totally reinventng the game. Virtually every moden band is dirivitive of these guys, be it songwriting, arranments, recording innovations.

kind of a brutal listen. There is a equal amount raw emotion of an artist coming to grips with his fame and the demands stemming from that, and homophobic, misogynistic shock rap, which take away from the fact that Eminem is one the most talented rappers in the world.

the who in this format are not really for me. Maybe at the time the concept of a rock opera was revolutionary, but now not so much. The who live as a straight up rocking machine is way better IMO
